I enjoyed this movie, but I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I'm a Dane myself. I found myself smiling on a few occasions, which involved Danish actors or mentions of other Danish things. But there's many things that's not correct, obviously. Danish princes are practically always called Christian or Frederik, we currently don't have a king but a queen, we speak Danish and our newspapers are also in Danish, and monarchs are not allowed to be involved in politics. I'm sure there is more, but I can't remember. But it's a cute story, predictable, but it's a romantic comedy, and those are predictable.See it, enjoy it, but don't take it too literally.

wonderful and entertaining. By the way, there is a "real" Crown Prince of Denmark who has just married a girl he met in Transmania in far away Australia. Fairy tales still come true these days. Amazing!!!! Julia Stiles is simply superb... Funny the way Shakespeare surfaces all along. I really enjoyed the scene when they are reading the poem. The chemestry is wonderful. They make us believe itΒ΄s really hapenning. Denmark must be a wonderful country. And they like their Royal Family. I also enjoyed the races.

I absolutely love this movie. It's very unrealistic, but it is a good cute fairy tale movie that just makes you feel good to watch. You can watch it and thing to yourself "Oh I wish that was me." in a eight year old girl thinking about prince charming kind of way.I just love the library scene. when they are playing 'footsy with there hands' as I like to call it. It takes me back to so many good memories from when I was younger. And in a way not to be "R" rated or anything but something about watching then two "In the stacks" just turned me on.It's definitely one of the best, but if you aren't into girlie girl movies, it's not for you.
